Wine Salon (Salone del Vino) - Torino, Lingotto Fiere

From November 16 to November 19, 2003, the Lingotto Fiere hosts the third Turin Wine Salon (Salone del Vino). The location and dates are in answer to many requests from exhibitors and trade operators who have been asking for show times that facilitate the presence of public personalities, the information media and various trade professionals. Opening on Sunday and closing on Wednesday, a day on which many restaurants and other commercial businesses are closed, should favor the participation of all sectors.

The access to the Salon is limited to journalists and operators that are either credited with the organization of the show or are invited by the exhibitors. There will be no tickets for sale to the general public allowing the exhibitors full attention to their prospective clients. Operators from all the Italian regions, as well as from overseas are scheduled for the trade show, expanding the trend that of the previous edition when 50% of the exhibitors were from outside Piedmont.

In 2002 there were 1,175 exhibitors at the Salone del Vino and visitors were 37,702.
