Welcome to Volume II, Number 06 of Wine News, the e-Letter from the WineCountry.IT network. (Versione Italiana)
Wine professionals are getting ready for Milan's first annual MiWine, the latest Italian wine trade show. We are looking forward to it and in the meantime we have published the final two parts of the article dedicated to the upcoming event.
The Third Circle's Ciacco leads us to Lombardy, where we partake of a virtual business lunch featuring modern recipes based on typically regional products. Of course, Ciacco suggests for us just the perfect wine to pair with each entry.
For this month's "The Chef's Corner" column, we met once again with sommelier Daniele Bergami of the School for Hotel and Restaurant Management of Serramazzoni. He talked to us about pairing Italian wine and food in general and local wines with typical Emilia-Romagna recipes.
"The Company of the Month" column for June keeps on the Road of the wines Bresciani del Garda where we visit the Garda Classico DOC zone.
In addition to the 'Dates to Remember', this month we will also bring you more articles than ever so, after reminding you that the articles listed below are published in English on WineCountry.IT, Italian Wine Hub and Italian Wine Labels, and in Italian on a different section of WineCountry.IT, Vino Italiano Club and ABC Vino, we will cut short the introduction and let you dive in.
The staff of WineCountry.IT network wishes all our subscribers happy reading! |

Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena
Visit to Daniele Malagoli's acetaia |
| |
Enjoy a visit to Daniele Malagoli's acetaia, or vinegar-(aceto) making facility, which produces traditional balsamic vinegar di Modena exclusively. It is a facility that, once the production cycle has achieved the minimum requirement of 14 years of aging according to the official production rules, will be among the first eight companies producing aceto balsamico TRADIZIONALE di Modena. We have highlighted "tradizionale" because this is the official denomination that defines the "true" ("vero") aceto balsamico, officially setting it apart from the balsamic vinegar produced industrially.
