In addition to the excellent Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino wines, the Azienda Agraria La Pescaia produces a Rosso IGT Toscana, Grappa di Brunello liquor, extra virgin olive oil and an exclusive new product, the gelatina di Brunello, a ruby red jelly condiment made with Brunello di Montalcino wine. All La Pescaia products are genuine and top quality, the result of love for the fruits of the land and the passion with which the Di Donato family manages the whole production process

The wines
This Brunello di Montalcino has 14% alcohol by vol. and is characterized by its ruby red color that turn to garnet with age, as well as intense, persistent, typical perfume. To the palate is dry, robust and harmonious, warm and shows good tannins. Ages in large oak vats for four years and six months in bottles before release.

The Rosso di Montalcino is ruby red in color, contains 14% alcohol by vol. and has intense, fragrant perfume. The wine ages for six months in French barriques and four months in bottles before release. Dry and slightly tannic, with captivating persistence.

Oricalco is a red IGT Toscana wine fermented in heat-controlled iron vats and aged in tonneaux and barriques. The color is intense ruby red, with elegant and persistent perfume. To the palate, it offers a good balance of tannins with soft tones, and a persistent finish.

Grappa
The Grappa di Brunello by discontinuous distillation, following the traditional bainmarie method and using exclusive, hand-made, balloon-shaped copper stills. The Brunello di Montalcino mash, macerated to just the right point, is processed immediately after fermentation to maintain the bouquet and organoleptic proprieties that are typical of Tuscany’s most noble wine.

The quality of the raw material, carefully processed according to tradition, gives this grappa unique characteristics typical of its zone of origin.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil
The olive oil produced by La Pescaia is the result of careful selection of top quality local varieties of olives, the moraiole, leccine and frantoiane. The color is opaline, and the acidity is very low, making it an excellent, high quality, genuine extra virgin olive oil.

Gelatina Brunello di Montalcino (Brunello di Montalcino Jelly Condiment)
This unique product, made with Brunello di Montalcino wine, of which it retains the typical perfume and flavor, is excellent served with medium- to long-aged cheeses, as well as grilled red meat and game.

Its available the gelatina di Rosso di Montalcino (Rosso di Montalcino jelly condiment) as well.
