At Spoleto, 'Vini Nel Mondo' (Wines in the World) Staff Writer - June 26, 2005
Visit the wines, taste a city.
The wines will be presented in an original way, that is, open to anyone, as is the town of Spoleto. The organizers invite all wine buffs, as well as non-drinking tourists, to participate in this new, late summer event.
This is an invitation to visit Spoleto – a historic Italian town with ancient roots, a lively culture and many traditions. From Friday, September 16, to Sunday, September 18, 2005, get to know, appreciate, taste and, should you want to, buy, choosing from among thousands of different quality wines produced by hundreds of wineries.
This is an opportunity to stroll along the historic streets and across the ancient piazzas of downtown Spoleto, approaching freely the many booths displaying wines for every taste – red, white and rosé; noble wines and table wines; sweet, dry, sparkling and any other possible type – surrounded by various kinds of entertainment, and moderated events.
This is, in a nutshell, 'Vini nel Mondo'. A festival of flavors open to everybody and offering multiple opportunities for fun and entertainment. Thus the organizers welcome people from all walks of life. Even the non-drinker will be entertained and, while busy having fun, forget their little 'flaw'.
