Monday, February 25, 2008: Monte Carlo Wine Festival
The trade show and wine tasting opens its doors at 10PM to an expected low start. There are not many people up and ready to taste wine on a Monday morning in Monte Carlo.

As the day progresses though, there are more and more visitors coming through the doors, though not as many as on the previous day.

Since we have a business meeting the next morning back in Castelfranco Emilia, we leave before the show ends at 7PM and ride in Paolo Alciati's car to Savona, where Cristo Lepori and I board a train to Tortona, leaving us just enough time for a pizza and an ice cold beer before boarding a train that takes us to Modena. We arrive late at night and my brother picks us up and drives us to my mom's place through a thick, humid fog.
