United States: Guest Country at Vinitaly 2004

United States to be Guest Country at Vinitaly 2004.
 The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Agricultural Affairs Department of the US Embassy in Rome (FAS), have chosen Vinitaly as their reference partner for promotion in the wine sector.
FAS operates on behalf of the leading agricultural organizations and trade associations with the aim of promoting US agricultural and food products on an international scale; it is the landmark and support service for US exporters and Italian importers.
Thanks to this collaborative agreement, Vinitaly will support and promote participation by US companies and operators in a dedicated area through a series of collateral initiatives - particularly the Press Conference and professional tasting scheduled on April 2, 2004 under the heading "Guest Country US Day".
